Intergroup Treasurer Position

Heartland Intergroup is seeking a dedicated member to step into a vital leadership role. Service is a cornerstone of our recovery, and this position offers a unique opportunity to give back to the community that supports us all. We invite those ready to broaden their circle of service to stand for the position of Treasurer.

THE VITAL ROLE OF TREASURER

As a trusted servant of the Intergroup, the Treasurer helps ensure our message remains strong and our doors stay open.

The duties and service obligations of the Treasurer include:

  1. Require skills of current bookkeeping system.
  2. Prepare a monthly financial statement and present this report at Representatives meetings.
  3. Attend all Intergroup-sponsored functions.
  4. Perform any other duties the Chairperson may request.
  5. Must be familiar with the By-Lawsand 36 Principles.

 REQUIREMENTS & TERM

  • Sobriety:Two years of continuous sobriety is required to stand for the Treasurers position.
  • Commitment:The term runs from now through December 31, 2027.
