The A.A. Sobriety Date: More Than Just a Date
For many of us in Alcoholics Anonymous, there is a date we never forget.
It may be the day we walked through the doors of our first A.A. meeting. It may be the day we finally admitted that alcohol had become a problem. It may be the day we stopped drinking and began a journey we never imagined we would take.
We call it our sobriety date.
At first, it might not seem like much more than a number on a calendar. But over time, that date can come to represent something much greater.
