Extra! Extra! A.A. District 3 Needs Your Service!

Answer the call to service and help carry the message of Alcoholics Anonymous throughout Polk, Highlands, and Hardee Counties.

Alcoholics Anonymous has always been built on the willingness of one alcoholic to help another. From welcoming a newcomer at their first meeting to keeping meetings accessible and helping our fellowship stay connected, service is an essential part of how we carry the message of recovery.

Now, A.A. District 3 is looking for trusted servants to step forward!

Several service positions are currently open, offering A.A. members an opportunity to give back to the fellowship that has helped so many of us find a new way of life.

Your Experience Matters. Your Service Makes a Difference.

You don’t have to have all the answers to make a difference. You simply need a willingness to serve, a desire to help others, and an understanding of how important A.A. has been in your own recovery.

District service helps connect individual groups, support local A.A. activities, share information, and ensure that the hand of A.A. remains available to anyone seeking recovery.

Open Service Positions

District 3 is seeking trusted servants for the following positions:

  • District Chairperson
  • District Treasurer / Finance
  • District Registrar
  • District Recording Secretary
  • District Corrections Committee Chair
  • District Grapevine Committee Chair
  • District Website Committee Chair
  • District Events Committee Chair
  • District Committee Member (DCM) positions in Subdistrict 1

Whether your strengths lie in organization, communication, finances, technology, event planning, or simply bringing people together, there may be a place for you to contribute.

You don’t need to do everything. You just need to be willing to do your part.

Why Get Involved in Service?

Service is more than filling a position or attending another business meeting. It is an opportunity to put our principles into action.

Through service, we strengthen our own recovery while helping ensure that A.A. remains available to the next person who walks through the door. We build friendships, learn from one another, and discover that even the smallest contribution can make a meaningful difference.

Someone was there for us when we needed help. Now we have the opportunity to be there for someone else.

If you’ve been wondering how to become more involved in A.A., this may be your opportunity!

Together, We Can Carry the Message!

A.A. works because members are willing to show up, lend a hand, and serve others. District 3 needs people like you to help keep that spirit alive throughout Polk, Highlands, and Hardee Counties.

Step forward. Get involved. Be part of something bigger than yourself.

After all, the message of Alcoholics Anonymous continues to reach those who need it because we carry it together—one member, one group, and one act of service at a time.

Your recovery matters. Your willingness matters. And your service can make a difference.
